
Radar tracks in a flight procedure design environment
The analysis and verification of the safety parameters during approach and departures in terminal areas is a major issue. IDS's Radar Data Viewer allows loading of the radar track and their superimposition over the planned procedure. Collision analysis and separation limits verification allow the user to optimise airspace and flight procedures design. It is also a very effective tool as part of a noise evaluation process.

Radar Data Viewer is an FPDAM add-on module which reads selected off-line radar tracks and draws them on FPDAM procedure charts.
By importing radar data into the system database, the Radar Data Viewer allows queuing the data and displaying tracks or plots over existing geographic scenarios. Real flight paths can be easily compared with planned procedures.
